Active WhoIs will enable any .NET developer to query a WhoIs server to check both the availability and information related to any second-level domain name (.COM, .DE, .SE, …). This WhoIs component will enable any .NET developer to query a WhoIs server to check both the availability and information related to any second-level domain name (.COM, .DE, .SE, …). You can also do a Global WhoIs search that will query all specified WhoIs servers and return a collection of results with all the information you need to display or manage.Our component provides default WhoIs servers for each top-level domain (up to 67) and includes logic to detect the availability of those servers. Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
